1) what does the role of production designer entail ?
helps the director to achieve what the movie is off the script making the script into a real life set
They take the money and buy the things needed to create this set
either go find a place and rent it or build it from scratch
the vision they have has to be within the budget

2) during a production, what other members does the production designer co-ordinate with?
Director - set designers - set dressers -

3) What issues can occur for a production designer?
run out of budget - time can run out as they have a deadline to meet - miscommunication as everyone needs to be in communication for this to work - things can change

4) What skills, eduction, experience and training are beneficial for a production designer to have?
good teamwork and communication skills - ability to adapt - 9-4 in GCSE english and maths - degree in theatre design - theatre experience - Multitask - being able to work in small budget - good visualisation to adapt to the different budgets - social skills and communication - project management skills - art history - imaginative - interior design - production courses - internships with set designer

Justification and evaluation
